Vision for the Role: The Activities Assistant Supervisor under the direction of the Activities Supervisor will assist in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and ensuring a great guest experience in all activity areas.

The Role: 

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide training, mentoring, and supervision of activities staff. Ensure that all staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to lead guests through each area with excellence. 
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure that activities follow local operating procedures and industry best practices. Monitor and enforce activity standards and conduct safety briefings. Observe and review each area, collaborating with Activities Supervisor on procedures. 
  • Spiritual Leadership: Provide Bible studies, mentorship, and Christ-centered leadership to staff. 
  • Uphold and model organizational beliefs and values. Actively contribute to the spiritual development of the team. 
  • Guest Engagement and Experience: Guide decision making within the department that promotes a guest-oriented mindset. 
  • Administrative and Operational Support: Assist Activities supervisor with scheduling, managing staff, and department logistics. Collaborate on inventory tracking, equipment maintenance, activity area readiness and evaluation for each area. 
  • Qualifications and Certifications: Maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, Lifeguard, ACCT level 2).  
  • Exhibit professional communication, project management skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. 
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required; Hume Lake maintains the right to reassign or change duties as required.

  • Ability to lead and organize a team of young adults. 
  • Completion of bachelor’s degree is preferred, and/or equivalent experience in related field. 


Physical Requirements:  

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; maybe on uneven or rugged terrain. 
  • Must be able to live and work in extreme weather conditions. 
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to live at high altitude and in small living quarters. 
  • Limited Out-of-town and/or overnight travel may be required. 
  • Operate mechanical equipment as directed and trained.

Salary:  $17.50
