Vision for the Role:
The SoCal Registrar plays a vital role in facilitating a smooth and distraction-free guest experience. This individual serves as a positive first point of contact for campers and guests by answering phone calls and providing front desk assistance in the Hume SoCal Welcome Center. This Registrar helps the Welcome Center team with check-ins and performs general administrative duties.

The Role:
- Assist guests with registering for events via phone calls and emails, utilizing Hume’s registration system, computer input, registration check-ins, and interacting with guests in the Welcome Center.
- Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment.
- Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous office or admin experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
- Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith.
- Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, frequently lift 25 pounds, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

- Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.
