Our summer nurses are an essential aspect of summer at Hume because we value camper and guest safety as one of our top priorities. Our medical team is calm, compassionate, fast-acting, and gospel-centered. We are looking for a team of nurses to support our full-time staff this summer at each of our three locations to provide care in our Health Centers, pass our medications, and respond to illness and injury.

Nurse/LVN Requirements:

Must have a relationship with Jesus Christ
Must be willing to care for youth and provide support in a fast-pace, high stress environment
Must have active licensure in the state of the location you have chosen to serve
Must have have completed a Basic Life Support certification
Note* - We do not require our RNs/LVNs to commit to an entire summer, however, we do not offer any paid positions for service less than two weeks. If interested in volunteering for a week or less, please contact [email protected] to inquire about opportunities.

Still in nursing school? We'd love to have you. We hire a team of nurse interns to assist in Health Center functions and pass out medications alongside an RN/LVN. We believe this is an AMAZING opportunity to truly learn from the best and witness excellent emergency care take place in a remote camp environment.

Nurse Intern Requirements:

Must have a relationship with Jesus Christ
Must be willing to care for youth and provide support in a fast-pace, high stress environment
Must have have completed a Basic Life Support certification
Must have completed a course in Pharmacology or be willing to take one provided by our Health Center staff
Must be willing and able to commit to an entire summer season
