Vision for the Role: The Accommodations Crew Member plays a vital role in creating a distraction-free environment for guests by maintaining spaces that help facilitate ministry experiences. This individual provides general help and assistance for a variety of manual labor projects, setup tasks, facility cleanup, and guest hospitality that supports the daily operations and activities of camp.

The Role:

• Preparation and cleaning of Guest Rooms, Restrooms 
• Cleaning and setting up of Chapels, Dining Rooms, Meeting Rooms 
• Laundry
• Stocking of Accommodations and guest items throughout the various facilities. 
• Snow Removal 
• Sweeping and Raking 
• Meeting the spiritual needs of our guests and staff as needed. 
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment.
• Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.
• Must be able to live in Hume Lake housing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
• Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
• Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.

Physical Requirements: 

• This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the job.
• Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.

Salary:  $17.00-$17.50 hourly
