Vision for the Role:

The purpose of this role is to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through working within the Seasonal Staff team to accomplish a variety of tasks. Seasonal Staff members must be flexible and capable of serving in a variety of different roles around camp. This individual is comfortable serving wherever it is most needed at the time.

The Role:
  • Work cooperatively as part of a team, accepting responsibilities and completing assignments as directed.
  • Seek guidance from supervisors when faced with challenges.
  • Notify supervisors when necessary for absences, dress appropriately, and maintain professional behavior.
  • Participate as an active member of the community, attending group activities, gatherings, etc.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Evidence of strong Christian faith with a passion for sharing the gospel and meeting spiritual needs.
  • Must agree with our statement of belief and be willing to abide by our code of conduct.
  • Willing to participate in staff trainings and be on-site during camp programs.
  • In agreement with Hume Lake Christian Camp’s theological positions, philosophy, and core values.
  • A team player who accepts leadership, responsibilities, and camp duties without seeking special privileges.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks like lifting, running, and swimming, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Able to live on-site during camp sessions and work irregular hours while maintaining a positive, cooperative attitude.
  • Experience working with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds in both team and independent settings.

Salary: $15 per hour
