Vision for the Role: The Accommodations Crew Member at Hume Lake plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests and campers. By preparing lodge rooms, summer camp cabins, cleaning restrooms, and setting up gathering spaces to Hume standards, this team member ensures that our guests can focus on what matters most—connecting with each other and with God. This role also has the unique opportunity to care for the spiritual needs of both our guests and staff, making a lasting impact on their lives.

The Role:
- Prepare and clean guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
- Set up chapels, dining rooms, and meeting spaces to create an inviting environment for fellowship and worship.
- Stock accommodations and guest areas with essential supplies to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain the camp’s cleanliness by performing snow removal, sweeping, and raking.
- Supervise and mentor weekend and summer workers, ensuring smooth operations and a positive team environment.

- Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.
- Must agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct.
- Friendly and approachable, with a dedication to meeting the needs of our guests.
- Must be able to live in available Hume Lake housing or provide private accommodations
Physical Requirements:
- This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to live in extreme weather conditions at a high altitude
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the position
